SANTA CLAUS THE MUCH-LOVED HERO OF CHRISTMAS
Santa has Eight Reindeer. Reindeer are symbolic of the Pagan Stag god.
The number 8 is the number for a new beginning, and, when laid on its side, is the occultic symbol for Infinity.
Objections to this tradition include the following:
Santa Claus is a mythical figure endowed with godlike attributes, including omniscience and omnipotence;

SANTA HAS SUPERPOWERS:
Travel the entire world in one night,
Santa also comes down a chimney, representing Christ who will return from above.
Santa Claus is a satanic imposter, designed by wicked people to steer children away from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Santa is a fictional character who is given the powers of being omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient.
This is blasphemy against God (Jesus Christ), Who is the ONLY One Who possess such divine qualities. Continue reading →

The first question that should be asked in regard to this subject is the following:
Is there a command anywhere in the Holy Scriptures that a human should cut a tree out of the forest,
set it up in one’s home at the time of the Winter Solstice, deck it with trinkets and various decorations,
and then place a star on its topmost part to show an association of the tree with the signs of the heavens?
And the statement of the apostle John to “keep yourselves from idols” (I John 5:21),
Indeed, because of the command of the apostle Paul in the New Testament that Christians ought to “flee idolatry” (I Corinthians 10:14)
The section of Scripture that evokes this debate is Jeremiah 10:1-5 and 8, 9.
Jeremiah is really talking about pagan “tree worship” that the Israelites of his time had taken up.
Palm tree (which is an evergreen like most Christmas trees today) was being decorated
with gold and silver spiral ribbons like those that come forth from the working of a lathe
and also with blue and purple cloth ribbons. Such trees were known as asherahs.
Indeed, the most ancient form of all pagan religion is simple “tree worship.”

Religious Spirit

A religious spirit is a demon that seeks to substitute religious activity for the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.  Its primary objective is to have the Church “holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power…” (2 Timothy 3:5).  The apostle Paul completed his exhortation with “avoid such men as these.”  This religious spirit is the “…leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees” (Matthew 16:6) of which the Lord warned His disci-ples to beware.  Satan seems to understand even better than the Church that “…God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble…” James 4:6 NKJV).  He knows very well that God will not inhabit any work that is inflated with pride, and that God Himself will even resist such a work.  So satan’s strategy is to make us proud — even proud of good things, such as how much we read our Bibles, or witness, or feed the poor.  He knows that if we do the will of God in pride, our work will be counterproductive and could even ultimately work toward our fall.  Pride, by its very nature, is the most difficult stronghold to remove or correct.  Continue reading →

Demonic operation in the Church

A Prayer for those who have suffered a broken heart

“God, You care deeply for broken-hearted people.  This is a promise You make: You are close.  We pray for all those who are crippled by broken relationships.  Our hearts take the blow of disappointment.  We feel crushed because our hopes are dashed.  God, You alone can heal broken hearts.  We cannot fix our own wounds.  But You can.  If pieces of our heart have been lost, or are held captive by another, recover them and bring them back to us and miraculously “put us back together” so that our heart is whole again.  In the Name of Jesus we bind the spirits of fear, death and destruction, grief and trauma, flashbacks, and nightmares. Father, please enable us to deal with the consequences of the trauma and restore our physical energy.  We pray for relaxation of the muscles and removal of “adrenaline” out of the body.  Please restore order in our life and we ask You erase memories of “ugly scenes”.  We pray for calmness, peace and acceptance. You are a Mender of broken hearts.  We ask for this miracle, in the name of Jesus.” Amen

It’s all up to me

Bruce Wilkinson write in his book “secrets of the Vine” about a very interesting topic of discipline.

New Life Ministries

New Life Ministries started in 2008 with 31 students and only one Ministry School.  In 2013 there were 16 Ministry Schools with a total number of 114 students from different denominations across South Africa and in Namibia .

This year in 2014 we started with 50 new students in Cape Town alone.  We thank the Lord for His faithfulness.

Therefore keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do. – Deuteronomy 29:9
